A fitted dresser and 3 wall sculptures
A fitted dresser and wall sculpture   I have had a great time over the last 5 years making various commissions for Richard and Alison Gubbay. This latest work for them is a fitted alcove dresser in Oak measuring approximately 240 x 50 x 250 cms high. It houses their TV and Hi-Fi and has two shaped glass doors. The inlays in the Oak doors are flush Walnut.
	Wall Sculpture   This wall relief/sculpture 260 x 35 x 5 cms in solid Oak continues the inlay pattern on the doors of the dresser. Technically I talked about this type of work in the previous commissions page. I used my AO plotter to print out the piece full size and stuck it on the raw timber. This maintains the fluidity of the curves as I have avoided plotting and using bent rules.

Aga Shelf   An Aga shelf in the same style made in Oak and Ebony. The stone behind it is fossilised limestone with an Iscan Blue dado rail
	Blind Header   A detailed piece in the same kitchen to hide the intricacies of the blind mechanism. Flight and seagulls in particular, inspired the shape of this work.
